Lam Dong prepares carefully for the 2025 Running Race

On September 12, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the People's Public Security Sports Association (CAND) to hold a meeting to discuss preparations for the 2025 Running Race.

The meeting was co-chaired by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh; Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Political Affairs Department and Vice President of the People's Police Sports Association; and Colonel Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police.

According to the draft plan, the race will take place over two days, November 21-22, 2025, with the participation of approximately 800 athletes.

Representatives from NEXUS Media Joint Stock Company presented an overview of the organization of the event. Delegates discussed and contributed ideas to ensure effective coordination and absolute safety for the event.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that all units do a good job of reviewing and surveying the terrain, medical facilities, fire safety, and transportation conditions to ensure the safety of the athletes.

On behalf of the Provincial Police, Colonel Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Police, stated: The Provincial Police will proactively coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee, the Police Sports Association, and relevant departments and agencies to survey the terrain, develop plans, and prepare the necessary conditions for organizing the tournament.

At the same time, direct professional units and local police to develop plans and mobilize forces to ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, and rescue operations, ensuring absolute safety for athletes, tourists, and throughout the entire duration of the event.

Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Political Affairs Department and Vice President of the Public Security Sports Association, delivered a speech giving directives.

This race is considered a particularly significant international trail running event in promoting tourism in Lam Dong province and showcasing the natural beauty of Vietnam to international friends. The unique route connects four sacred mountain peaks of the Lam Dong plateau: Langbiang, Pinhatt, Elephant Mountain, and Bidoup. This offers a challenging and memorable experience for athletes and tourists alike.

Besides contributing to the promotion of tourism and sports, the tournament also spreads a community message about health training, improving the quality of life, and responding to the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh".

Preparations are being urgently carried out by the relevant units, aiming for a successful event that will leave a positive impression on athletes and international friends.
