To achieve the above objectives, Yen Binh district has implemented specific solutions, including promoting the transformation from small-scale livestock farming to farm-based, semi-industrial, and industrial-scale development, linked with processing and product consumption. At the same time, the district is proactively rebuilding herds, controlling diseases to minimize production losses, and guiding livestock farming towards biosafety practices.
To date, the total number of main livestock in the district has reached over 136,700 head, equivalent to 151.6% compared to the same period in 2024. The total output of live meat for slaughter reached 7,800 tons, equivalent to 44.5% of the annual plan.
Currently, Yen Binh district continues to mobilize the people to implement disease prevention and control measures, conduct regular vaccinations, and support the development of disease-free livestock farming areas and value chain-based livestock farming, determined to achieve the goals set for 2025.
