Request to report on salary and bonus payment situation during Tet holiday before January 6, 2025

Kinhtedothi - The Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation requests the Labor Federations of districts, towns, and cities, Industry Trade Unions, Trade Unions at the direct superior level, and grassroots Trade Unions to report and compile statistics on the payment of salaries and bonuses for the New Year and Lunar New Year 2025 before January 6, 2025.

In Official Dispatch No. 592/LĐLĐ of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation (LĐLĐ) on strengthening the work of caring for and participating in stabilizing labor relations before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation requested the Labor Confederations of districts, towns, trade unions of sectors, trade unions at the direct superior level, and grassroots trade unions to step up the supervision of the Trade Unions on the implementation of Decree 74/2024/ND-CP dated June 30, 2024 of the Government stipulating the minimum wage for employees working under labor contracts and the law on wages at enterprises; coordinate with local authorities to participate in inspection and examination of compliance with labor laws, trade unions, social insurance, etc., focusing on the payment of wages and bonuses at units and enterprises.

Trade Unions at all levels regularly monitor and grasp the situation of labor relations, ideological developments and recommendations and proposals of union members and workers in each enterprise. Assign cadres to coordinate with the grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee and core workers on security and order in units and enterprises.

In addition, trade unions at all levels need to grasp the situation and labor recruitment needs of enterprises, the needs of job search and job conversion of employees to promptly provide information, support enterprises and employees in recruiting and choosing suitable jobs, meeting the production and business requirements of enterprises at the end of the year and ensuring jobs and income of employees.

The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation requested that all levels of the Trade Union report on the situation of salary and bonus payment for the New Year and Lunar New Year 2025 before January 6, 2025. Report weekly on the situation of collective work stoppages, units and enterprises owing salaries, social insurance, no Tet bonuses, the situation of Lunar New Year 2025 bonuses of units and enterprises...

Direct the grassroots trade union to coordinate with the employer to review the labor contract, collective labor agreement, salary payment regulations, bonus regulations... to implement salary and bonus regimes for employees according to the agreed content. Develop a bonus plan based on the 2024 production and business results according to Article 104 of the Labor Code and notify employees.

Employers are requested to provide early and complete information so that employees are aware of the plan, time of salary payment, salary increase, bonus payment and allowances, and support for employees during the New Year and Lunar New Year.

Along with that, propagandize, mobilize, and encourage union members and workers to return to work after Tet holiday; proactively provide resources and coordinate with other union organizations to take care of union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025 at enterprises - especially union members and workers in difficult circumstances, and propose that the superior union support schools with special difficulties.
