VHO - From December 16-20, the first Lao Cai Provincial Education and Training Sector Sports Festival 2025 will take place, with the participation of 1,147 outstanding athletes selected from grassroots sports movements.

The congress was attended by 35 delegations, with 1,147 athletes selected from grassroots sports movements.

The first Lao Cai Provincial Education and Training Sector Sports Festival in 2025 is a major event for the sector, affirming the determination to improve physical fitness and comprehensively develop the people of Lao Cai in the new era; honoring the noble and healthy spirit of sportsmanship and the aspiration for excellence of the teaching staff and education management officials.

Accordingly, the Congress, organized by the Provincial Department of Education and Training, was attended by 35 delegations, with 1,147 outstanding athletes representing more than 30,000 officials, teachers, and staff working at 1,046 preschool, primary, secondary, and continuing education institutions in Lao Cai province.

The athletes competed in six sports: leather volleyball, inflatable volleyball, table tennis, badminton, chess, and pickleball.

The congress took place from December 16-20.
