11 tháng, CPI của Hà Nội tăng 3,61%

Over the first 11 months, Hanoi 's CPI increased by 3.61%.

Hanoi's average consumer price index (CPI) for the first 11 months increased by 3.61% compared to the same period last year. In the context of a volatile global economy , Hanoi's ability to keep the CPI below 4% demonstrates its relatively effective price management capabilities.

Essential goods such as food have seen moderate price increases thanks to stable supply and proactive market regulation by relevant authorities. During periods of high demand, such as holidays, the city has implemented price stabilization programs and supply-demand linkages, helping to curb speculation and price gouging. In addition, the expanding distribution system helps deliver goods to consumers more quickly, reducing the risk of localized price increases.

Nevertheless, non-food items, especially transportation, housing and building materials, healthcare, and education, still tend to increase in price due to the impact of service costs and global fluctuations. Rising international fuel prices lead to increased transportation costs; rising labor costs in urban services affect a wide range of goods.

A key factor influencing the CPI is the cost of housing and urban services. Rent, apartment service fees, and home repair costs have increased in many areas, reflecting the pressures of urbanization and the operating costs of high-rise buildings. Without effective control measures, housing costs could continue to drive up the CPI in the coming period.

To control the CPI in the coming period, Hanoi needs to focus on several key areas: ensuring the supply of essential goods; reducing logistics costs through the construction of modern storage and distribution centers; flexibly managing the price stabilization program; strengthening inspections against speculation and ensuring transparency of price information; and continuing to improve the housing market and urban services to reduce cost-push impacts.
