Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang, Deputy Director of Hue City Police, presented the amnesty decision to the prisoners.

At the ceremony, representatives of the City Police presented flowers and granted amnesty decisions to 16 prisoners. Thereby, once again affirming the lenient policy of the Party and State; the humanity and humanity in criminal policy, and the fine tradition of altruism of the Vietnamese people.

This is also a recognition of the results of the process of educating and reforming prisoners, demonstrating the close coordination between prisons, families, relevant agencies and the whole society in implementing the criminal policy of the Party and State.

On the same morning, at Binh Dien Prison (Binh Tien Commune, Huong Tra Town), Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Khang, Warden of the Prison, also announced the President's 2025 amnesty decision for 111 prisoners serving their sentences there. After the announcement ceremony, officers of Binh Dien Prison quickly completed the procedures to issue amnesty certificates, citizen identification cards, travel expenses, food expenses, support money from the community integration fund and clothes for the prisoners to return to their families and communities.
