The Ministry of Education and Training notes that the online registration schedule for the high school graduation exam on the exam management system from April 21 will end at 5:00 p.m. today, April 28.
Preliminary statistics show that more than 1 million candidates have registered for the exam, including 12th graders and independent candidates.

This year's high school graduation exam has many big changes, so candidates must also pay attention when registering for the exam. For 12th grade students, special attention must be paid when registering for elective exams. Students must choose a maximum of 2 subjects from the subjects they have chosen and have the results of their 12th grade studies; choose the right subjects according to their wishes for the high school graduation exam and university and college admission.
Candidates are not allowed to choose subjects that they did not study in grade 12. For foreign languages, candidates can choose to take a foreign language different from the one they studied in high school. For example, candidates who study English can choose to take German as their foreign language and vice versa.
The Ministry of Education and Training noted: "Once you have chosen and officially registered, you will not be able to change the exam subjects. Therefore, candidates must consider very carefully during the exam registration process."
Foreign language certificates for exemption from graduation exams or university admission must be valid until June 25. The Ministry of Education and Training will issue documents guiding candidates on the use of foreign language certificates in university admissions.
During the process of registering for exams, preliminary registration, and university and college admissions, candidates must use a unified type of identification document: ID card, citizen identification card, personal identification, and passport number.
During the registration period, candidates wishing to apply for university and college admission must declare on the software complete and correct information with evidence to enjoy priority in university admission according to regulations and instructions.
According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after the official exam registration period, the Departments of Education and Training will review, check, and edit candidate information, and review candidates' reserved scores from April 28 to May 9.
No later than May 13, the registration units must print the list of candidates and hand over the registration form to the candidates. The units will then check and cross-check the candidate information no later than May 15.
From May 16 to May 20, candidates need to complete editing of information (if any).
