180 imported lobster seed batches were inspected and monitored.

Implementing the direction of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on thoroughly handling the act of raising, trading, and transporting lobster seeds of unknown origin and smuggled lobster seeds in the province, recently, specialized units under the Department of Agriculture and Environment have coordinated with the Veterinary Department of Region V to inspect and monitor lobster seeds after quarantine imported to the province for 180 batches of imported lobster seeds, with a total of 32,784,695 individuals.

Regarding the inspection of facilities that are qualified to raise lobster larvae in the province, out of 51 facilities that have been granted certificates of eligibility to raise lobster larvae, the authorities have revoked 12 certificates due to the facilities ceasing operations; 9 facilities have been inspected and maintained their certificates; the remaining 30 facilities will continue to be inspected in the coming time.
