Not just a simple sporting event, the race carries a great mission, which is to promote a green, healthy lifestyle and environmental responsibility. The "My Vietnam" - My Vietnam 2025 race is scheduled to take place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center and Vinhomes Global Gate, Dong Anh, Hanoi on August 24.
The organizers aim to minimize plastic waste and increase green experiences; thereby, spreading the message of sustainable transformation with the community, contributing to realizing the Government's commitment to zero net emissions before 2050.

Ms. Hoang Hoa Anh Duc, representative of the Vietnam Exhibition Center, said: With the theme "Fierce Vietnamese spirit", each step at "My Vietnam" is an opportunity for the young generation to review together the 80-year journey of building and developing the country, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and development aspirations of the Vietnamese people in the new era.
Through the race, the Organizing Committee calls on the community to join hands to act for a Vietnam with a clean, safe and sustainable living environment, contributing with the international community to solve the problem of environmental pollution caused by plastic waste.
With technical support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), through the National Plastic Action Partnership Programme in Vietnam (NPAP), each step not only contributes to health training, but also demonstrates responsibility for the green future of the planet and for a green Vietnam.
