20 High Schools Participate in STEM Training and Sports Exchange

In the morning, Gia Rai High School coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education to organize a training course on science, technology and STEM for management staff and teachers. Attending the training session were representatives of the Department of Education and Training, the Board of Directors and teachers of 20 high schools in the province.

Dr. Tran Thanh Thuong, Head of Admissions and Student Affairs Department, shared at the training class.

At the training session, Dr. Tran Thanh Thuong, Head of Admissions and Student Affairs, and MSc. Doan Tat Linh, lecturer of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, directly shared practical experiences in building and implementing STEM projects , especially models participating in national science and technology competitions. The training course aims to build a STEM activity model in the direction of interdisciplinary integration, innovation, and creativity, creating a foundation for forming a network of high schools developing STEM education in the area.

Teachers from 20 high schools in the province participated in the training.

On the same day, at Gia Rai High School, a sports exchange was held for officials, teachers and staff of high schools across the province to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

The exchange session had over 400 athletes who were educational managers, teachers and staff of 20 high schools in the province.

More than 400 athletes participated, competing in the following sports: men's mini soccer, women's volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and pickleball. The matches took place in an exciting spirit, in the spirit of solidarity, honesty, nobility and "fun is the main thing". This was an opportunity for staff and teachers to meet, share management and teaching experiences, and at the same time strengthen solidarity and cohesion between units.
