300 bicycles to support poor students in Phu Tho province through VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025

On the afternoon of August 16, at Flamingo Dai Lai, more than 7,000 domestic and foreign athletes exploded with energy in a colorful and emotional sports festival. The event was not only a tournament of great stature but also a testament to LPBank's efforts in contributing to building a healthy community and spreading profound human values.

The VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025 with the theme “Rhythm through time” is organized to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 and the 55th anniversary of VTV’s first broadcast. The success of the tournament is the result of the joint efforts of Vietnam Television, Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, Department of Physical Training and Sports, Vietnam Athletics Federation and especially the strategic support from LPBank.

Sharing at the event, Mr. Vu Quoc Khanh, General Director of LPBank, affirmed: "The second consecutive year of joining the VTV LPBank International Marathon demonstrates our efforts in contributing to creating a physically healthy and mentally strong community. We believe that investing in sports is investing in the sustainable future of the country. Continuing the spirit of “sharing with each step”, this year’s tournament also strongly spreads humanistic values. The Organizing Committee and LPBank presented 300 bicycles to disadvantaged students in Phu Tho province. This meaningful gift not only helps the children go to school but also clearly demonstrates the philosophy of “Integrating society in business” that LPBank always pursues.

The opening ceremony was attended by leaders of Phu Tho province, Vietnam Television, Vietnam Sports Department, representatives of LPBank's Board of Directors, sponsors, and thousands of athletes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Hoang - Head of the Steering Committee of the tournament, emphasized: "This year's tournament with the theme "Rhythm through time" carries the message of honoring the value of connection between the past - present - future, while demonstrating the spirit of perseverance, overcoming all limits of each runner. Through this tournament, VTV wishes to spread the spirit of love for running to the runner community, build a healthy sports environment, bring great spiritual and social values, especially promote the cultural and tourism image of each locality".

This year's race attracted more than 7,000 runners competing in 3 distances. The challenging 21km half marathon attracted nearly 3,000 athletes, while more than 1,700 athletes participated in the 10km distance and more than 2,400 athletes in the 6.8km distance. The heat of the tournament was also confirmed by the participation of runners from 8 countries, creating a large-scale, colorful international playground while providing valuable opportunities for domestic runners to exchange and learn.

The athletes experienced a unique and emotional running route in the afternoon, admiring the romantic sunset at Flamingo Dai Lai - one of the 10 most beautiful resorts in the world. The route passed through beautiful natural landscapes such as green pine forests and poetic lakes, promising to bring unforgettable experiences.

The organization, security and medical work were carefully prepared, ensuring absolute safety for the participants. The total value of cash prizes for all 3 distances was up to more than 150 million VND. In addition, the athletes also enjoyed a vibrant beer and music festival, creating a truly explosive festival.

The VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025 - Rhythm Through Time has successfully concluded, not only a sporting event but also a festival of connection, where everyone shares passion, spreads positive energy and records memorable moments.
