358 delegates attended the 15th Congress of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee

Delegates attending the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress performed the flag-saluting ceremony in the preparatory session on the morning of October 14.

Attending the congress were 358 official delegates; of which, 44 were ex-officio delegates, 314 were elected and appointed delegates representing more than 49,000 party members in the entire provincial Party Committee.

At the preparatory session, delegates elected the Congress Executive Presidium consisting of 17 comrades; the Secretariat consisting of 3 comrades; and the Congress Delegate Qualification Examination Committee consisting of 5 comrades. The Congress also approved the internal regulations, working program, and working regulations of the Congress; and listened to and thoroughly grasped some contents of the Party's Election Regulations.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, chaired the election of the congress's Presidium.

The 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, is a particularly important political event, tasked with summarizing and comprehensively evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress.

At the same time, discuss, decide on the direction, goals, tasks and pass the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; elect the 15th Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2025-2030; elect the Delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

On the morning of October 14, before the preparatory session, delegates attending the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu battlefield martyrs' temple on F hill.
