After Brazil, Spain, and England fell out one after another, the semi-finals of the 2023 U17 World Cup became the gathering place of 4 talented teams: Argentina, Germany, France, and Mali. They only have 2 matches left to complete their dream of winning the championship.

In the semi-finals, fans will have the chance to witness an exciting clash between Argentina and Germany, the top candidates. The European team, although not really outstanding in the knockout stage, has maintained a perfect record so far. They have defeated the United States (round of 16) and Spain (quarter-finals) by a narrow margin.

For their part, Argentina are playing exciting attacking football, culminating in a stunning 3-0 win over their neighbours Brazil. After a surprise defeat to Senegal in their opening match, the Tango army defeated Japan, Poland, Venezuela and Brazil to advance to the last four.

Notably, Argentina has the tournament's two top scorers, Claudio Echeverri and Augustin Ruberto, both with five goals.

The other match is between France and Mali, who both won 1-0 in the quarter-finals. France have not been at their best so far, winning just two of their five matches in regulation time. In the knockout stages, they relied heavily on the brilliance of goalkeeper Paul Argney to secure the win.

Meanwhile, Mali, after a big win over Mexico in the round of 16, deserved to advance thanks to defeating their African neighbours Morocco with a last-minute goal. They have only conceded two goals since the start of the tournament, including one in the group stage loss to Spain./.

Semi-final matches:

15:30 November 28: Argentina vs Germany

19:00 November 28: France vs Mali
