43 groups and individuals won the "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest in 2024

On the morning of October 20, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize the summary and award ceremony of the preliminary round of the "Reading Culture Ambassador" Contest in 2024.

After more than 1 month of launching, the Organizing Committee of the preliminary round of the contest received 972 entries (932 articles, 40 videos ); of which, 459 were from primary school, 285 were from secondary school, and 228 were from high school. The entries strictly followed the rules set by the Organizing Committee; many entries were carefully invested in such as: handwritten, illustrated, with Vietnamese-English lyrics.

Provincial Library leaders awarded prizes to third prize winners.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 collective prizes; 39 individuals won the preliminary round prizes including: 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 9 third prizes, 15 consolation prizes; 6 thematic prizes. In which, the first prize at the primary level went to Lam Gia Han, class 5D, Hop Giang Primary School; the first prize at the secondary level went to To Thanh Lam, Pac Miau Secondary School (Bao Lam); the first prize at the high school level went to Be Thi Minh Thu, class 10 Literature, Provincial Specialized High School.

The Organizing Committee selected 6 best entries to participate in the final round organized by the Department of Libraries, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, of which 1 excellent student attended the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the national final round of the contest to honor "Reading Culture Ambassador" held in October 2024 in Phu Tho province.

The 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest has spread the passion for reading, exchanged and shared experiences of reading and developed a reading culture, thereby encouraging and promoting the reading movement in schools and communities, forming reading habits, skills and movements among the young generation and students in the province.
