Improving the effectiveness of drug prevention, control and combat in the new situation

(DN) - Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 140/KH-UBND dated October 20, 2025 summarizing the implementation of the National Strategy for Drug Prevention, Control and Prevention to 2020 and orientation to 2030, associated with summarizing the implementation of the Drug Prevention and Control Program for the period 2021-2025 in Dong Nai province.

The plan aims to accurately assess the current situation, results of strategy and program implementation; shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, problems, causes and lessons learned; and promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

At the same time, through the summary, draw out theoretical and practical issues as a basis for research and assessment of the crime and drug situation in the province; advise, direct the promulgation and implementation of policies and solutions to improve the effectiveness of drug prevention, control and combat in the new situation, especially in accordance with the practical situation of the 2-level local government model.

The summary assessment is carried out on a province-wide scale, from the grassroots level, with focus and key points, ensuring effectiveness and practicality, avoiding formality.

Regarding the content, evaluate the results of implementing key tasks and main solutions of the proposed strategies and programs in many fields including: Group of political and social solutions; group of solutions on laws, regimes and policies; group of solutions on improving management capacity; group of solutions on information and propaganda on drug prevention and control; group of solutions on reducing drug supply, reducing demand and reducing drug harm; strengthening international cooperation on drug prevention, control and control... Thereby, forecast the situation; recommend and propose goals, contents, tasks and solutions to improve the effectiveness of drug prevention, control and control for the next period.
