Giving love from charity houses

Supporting the construction of houses for people with meritorious services to the revolution and poor households with housing difficulties is a very meaningful and deeply humane act, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and solidarity for the poor of the entire political system and business community. In recent times, the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has actively mobilized organizations, businesses and individuals to contribute and support resources, and coordinate with local authorities in the province to build houses of gratitude for poor households, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution with especially difficult circumstances in the province.

Recently, at Binh Tho 2 Area, Tan Son Commune, Mr. Nguyen Duc Vui's family and his elderly mother, the wife of a martyr, were very excited when the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and local authorities handed over a new, spacious, warm, and loving house.

For Mr. Vui and his family, this is a dream that seems impossible to come true because the old house that has been dilapidated for many years has now been replaced by a neat and clean home. Mr. Vui's family situation is very difficult, his health is poor and he mainly depends on his wife's agricultural work, and his income is unstable. Therefore, the new house not only helps him ease his worries about housing but also motivates the whole family to feel secure and stabilize their lives.

Mr. Vui shared: "Thank you to the government, all levels and sectors for your timely attention and support in bringing us a new, spacious and warm house, which is the motivation for the family to strive to overcome difficulties and rise up..."

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Quach The Ngoc and the sponsoring unit presented support to Mr. Nguyen Huy Bang's family.

In the same situation as Mr. Vui, Mr. Nguyen Huy Bang, who lives in Dai Phu residential area, Luong Son commune, with his wife and two children, is living in a dilapidated, seriously degraded thatched house. Due to unstable work and unstable income, the family cannot repair the house themselves. With a new, solidly built house, with a total area of 110 square meters, the floor is paved with ceramic tiles, the roof is made of sturdy corrugated iron, the yard is made of cement concrete..., Mr. Bang choked up: "In my whole life, I never thought I could live in a house like this."

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Tran Quang Minh, leaders of Trung Son commune and sponsors took souvenir photos at the new house of Mr. Dinh Van Binh.

Not only in Tan Son and Luong Son communes, the joy of settling down has also spread to the particularly difficult mountainous commune of Trung Son. The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, together with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Trung Son commune, and representatives of the sponsor Vietcombank Phu Tho branch, have just organized the handover of a new house of gratitude to Mr. Dinh Van Binh, born in 1986, a poor household in the commune.

Mr. Binh's house was previously a wooden house with a thatched roof and was seriously degraded and unsafe, but he did not have the means to rebuild or repair it. Mr. Binh himself was in poor health, and his young child had a blood disease and was being treated in the hospital.

Holding the key to the new house that still smelled of lime and mortar, Mr. Binh was moved to tears: “The house before was small, precariously perched on the mountainside, when it rained, water would overflow from the back to the front. My child was still young and had a blood disease, so the treatment was quite expensive. Many nights I could only cry, not daring to call anyone because of shame. We were poor.”

Receiving a 60 million VND support from the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Mr. Binh immediately asked his brothers and neighbors to help with the labor, personally taking care of each brick and sheet of corrugated iron. "Without this support, we don't know when we would have a solid roof for our children to shelter from the rain and sun," Mr. Binh confided.

Supporting the construction of "houses of gratitude" is not only a concrete action for the poor and families with revolutionary contributions, but also a symbol of compassion and the spirit of "mutual love" that is spreading strongly in the community. Up to now, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has built and handed over 4 new houses, and at the same time given valuable gifts to poor households and policy families with difficult housing circumstances.

Comrade Quach The Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee said: This is a practical activity, rich in humanistic meaning, demonstrating the concern, sense of responsibility and deep affection of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee for social security work, accompanying the Party Committee, the government and the people in the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, taking care of difficult circumstances, helping poor households have stable housing, peace of mind in working and production, gradually rising to stabilize their lives. At the same time, this is also an activity towards the 60th anniversary of the Party Internal Affairs Sector's Traditional Day (January 5, 1966 - January 5, 2026).
