Signing of cooperation agreement on tourism development and training

On March 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province (DOCST) coordinated with the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture and IGB GROUP Joint Stock Company to sign a cooperation agreement on tourism development and training.

Attending the event were Ms. Nong Thi Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province; Mr. Nguyen Cong Tiep, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture; Mr. Vu Xuan Nguyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IGB GROUP Joint Stock Company; representatives of the provincial Tourism Association; leaders and experts of some departments and units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to the agreement, the parties are responsible for supporting each other in coordinating training, human resource development, and tourism development, specifically:

On the part of Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Create conditions and receive students of the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture for internships at departments and units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; support connections for students of the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages for internships at hotels, restaurants, and businesses operating in the tourism sector in Cao Bang province.

Coordinate and organize training activities to improve management capacity in tourism sectors (marketing, hotel and restaurant business, etc.) in line with the province's tourism development orientation.

On the part of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture: Support experts in the field of agricultural tourism to develop a project to transform digital agricultural tourism according to the policies of the Government and localities when the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has a need. Organize forums on digital transformation in tourism.

Cooperate in training to improve capacity in tourism and tourism management for local officials and workers when the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has a need.

On the part of IGB Joint Stock Company (IGB GROUP ): Accompanying the locality, supporting the provision of smart tourism management software systems for Cao Bang province. Researching the application of science and technology into practice to develop tourism and digitally transform smart tourism in the locality.

At the program, the parties signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development and training.

The program of signing a cooperation agreement aims to develop an effective and sustainable relationship between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province, the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture and IGB Joint Stock Company in training, fostering human resources, and digital transformation of tourism, contributing to the development of tourism, especially agricultural tourism in Cao Bang province.
