Customers shop at HDC Group fashion showroom (Hoa Binh city) - one of the men's fashion store chains that is expanding its system in many provinces and cities across the country.
According to the analysis of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the 18% increase shows that consumer confidence is clearly recovering, especially in urban areas and industrial zones. The demand for electronics, clothing, food, essential goods and catering services all increased, especially during holidays and weekends.
The development of modern distribution systems - supermarkets, convenience store chains, and local e-commerce platforms also contributes to "pushing" consumer market growth.
The highlight is that despite the strong increase in purchasing power, Hoa Binh 's consumer price index (CPI) is still well controlled, with an average increase of 1.86% in the first 6 months of the year - lower than the national average.
The results were achieved thanks to the province's proactive management of stable supply of goods, especially essential food and foodstuff groups; consumer stimulus programs - price reductions were strongly implemented by businesses; market inspection and control, anti-hoarding and price increases were strengthened during peak periods... The province also organized many programs to connect supply and demand, "Clean Agricultural Products Week", "Vietnamese Goods Market", OCOP Fair" to support domestic products to approach consumers in a systematic manner.
