The Hanoi Radio Pickleball Tournament 2025 is organized for the first time on a large and professional scale, aiming to promote the mass sports movement, responding to the campaign for the whole population to exercise. At the same time, promoting the development of Pickleball, expanding and connecting the Pickleball community in Hanoi in particular and the whole country in general.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Radio, said: After nearly a month of launching, the tournament has attracted 646 athletes to compete in 8 categories, from amateur to professional. Among them are many actors, models, beauty queens and famous athletes in the Vietnamese pickleball community.
“The tournament has been carefully prepared by the Organizing Committee, from the field conditions meeting competition standards to the team of professional, well-trained referees. The participating athletes can rest assured about a safe, fair, healthy, and civilized tournament. Through this tournament, we want to affirm the professionalism in organizing sports tournaments as well as cultural events of Hanoi Radio Station”, the Deputy General Director of Hanoi Radio Station affirmed.
The tournament will take place on June 14 and 15 at the Pickleball Complex - Center for Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism of Cau Giay District with the following events: men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles, each pair of athletes can participate in a maximum of 2 events.
The Hanoi Pickleball Tournament 2025 brings together top talented athletes from all over the world, giving them top-notch performances. The tournament also brings together a team of prestigious and professional referees, along with diverse competition content.
In particular, the Hanoi Radio Pickleball Tournament 2025 also has the participation of many famous artists, actors, singers, models, MCs... such as actors B Tran, Huynh Anh, Manh Quan, Anh Vu; singers Ha Anh, Nguyen Tien Hung, Trieu Dinh Minh; beauty queen Nguyen Thi Huyen, beauty queen Jennifer Pham, beauty queen Vu Ngoc Diep...
Through the tournament, the Organizing Committee also hopes to discover potential athletes who can participate in national professional tournaments.
The total prize value of the tournament is nearly 500 million VND, including cash, gifts and matches will be broadcast live on the ecosystem: television, radio and digital platform of Hanoi Radio and Television Station.
