9 Premier League teams to play in European Cup next season

Nearly half of Premier League representatives will be in Europe next season.

The 2025/26 season will see nine Premier League clubs competing in European competition. Six will compete in the Champions League, along with two in the Europa League and one in the Conference League.

Chelsea's case is also a bit complicated. If they win the Conference League, "The Blues" will have a place in the Europa League next season. But this team is also in 5th place, the position that has a place in the Champions League.

If Chelsea win the Conference League and maintain fifth place until the end of the season, they will qualify for the Champions League. At that time, the vacant Europa League spot will be awarded to the team with the highest UEFA coefficient.
