In 2025, the 50th anniversary of national reunification, Ho Chi Minh City has made remarkable progress, maintaining its position as the economic locomotive of the country. This year also marks 37 years since Agribank was present and operated in the city. Over the course of nearly 4 decades, each Agribank staff member has always carried with them the pride of working in the city named after Uncle Ho. Every day, that pride has been, is and will continue to be realized through their utmost efforts in work and community activities.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Agribank currently has a Southern Representative Office and 34 type I branches, 13 type II branches, 123 transaction offices with more than 3,000 officers and employees; capable of providing a full range of high-quality, safe, and professional financial and banking products to all customer needs.

Agribank has always been a key bank, actively participating in key programs of the City such as: Connecting banks - businesses; stabilizing the market; preferential loan programs, supporting interest rate reduction to accompany businesses and people in developing production - business...

Along with business activities, Agribank does not forget its obligations to the community. For example, in the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ho Chi Minh City", Agribank contributed 5 billion VND with the banking industry to improve the quality of people's lives.

Mr. Pham Van Tung, in An Loc hamlet, Tam Thon Hiep commune, Can Gio district - one of hundreds of households receiving support for home repairs from Agribank's funding, said that when he heard the news of receiving funding to repair his house, he and his wife were "indescribably happy". Because, with an unstable income from sewing shoes for hire at home, he did not dare to think about repairing his house.

Currently, from a dilapidated, leaky house, the floor was nearly 1 meter lower than the road surface, and was even dangerous during the rainy season, Mr. Tung and his wife's house has become spacious, clean and solid, beyond the family's expectations. Thanks to that, the family's living conditions have improved significantly, and his two children have better learning conditions.

Assessing Agribank's contribution to this Program, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch Nguyen Duc Lenh said that Agribank's participation not only contributes to the fulfillment of political tasks but also arouses patriotism and love for the profession. From there, it becomes a driving force and aspiration for development, especially among young officers and employees of the banking industry.

"Agribank's contributions were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City at the conclusion of the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ho Chi Minh City" by 2025" - Mr. Nguyen Duc Lenh shared.

Recently, in a series of emulation activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) organized by the banking sector of Ho Chi Minh City, Agribank is proud to be a companion and directly participate in many activities such as: Photo exhibition "Proud of tradition - Pioneering innovation", Program "I love my city", Banking industry sports festival...

Agribank has launched many sports and physical training movements with the spirit of "being healthy to build and protect the Fatherland" and received the support of many branch staff. Walking on historical roads associated with the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in the "Pride of My Fatherland" race, the image of Agribankers has created a deep impression of dynamism, healthy lifestyle and a heart full of pride in the nation's history.

The race has conveyed the message of patriotism and national pride and became more meaningful when each step of Agribank staff has filled the fund for the program "Proud of the National Flag", "Scholarships to support ethnic minority students, poor students"... contributing to bringing 5,000 flags for Binh Chanh district to build "National Flag Road" routes and 90 scholarships to support learning for students with difficult circumstances living in Binh Chanh district.

In particular, in the atmosphere of celebrating the victory day, the staff, employees and workers in the entire Agribank system were once again proud to be the unit accompanying the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to express gratitude to 3,100 delegates from 62 provinces and cities who visited and attended activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Each gift not only promotes the image of a civilized - modern - affectionate city and spreads the cultural values ​​of Agribank to all parts of the country, but is also a promise from the young generation of Agribank to their ancestors about their determination to build and protect the Fatherland, continuing the story of peace that so many people have built with their blood and youth.
