TPO – The Hoa Lien – Tuy Loan Expressway is considered an important part of the Central region’s transportation network. However, this expressway is currently in a state of prolonged dusty sun and muddy rain, causing many difficulties for traffic participants.

According to Tien Phong, at the Nguyen Tat Thanh intersection - Nam Hai Van bypass (Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city), dust from the La Son - Tuy Loan expressway project (Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan section) hovered, covering the entire long stretch of road. The thick layer of dust on vehicles affected traffic participants.

Many drivers have to endure limited visibility, polluted air, and thick layers of dust on their vehicles after passing through this stretch of road.

According to many road users, due to the construction process, on hot sunny days, the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway becomes a nightmare for them because of the dust covering the entire road, and when it rains, the mud affects traffic.

“The dusty conditions severely reduce my visibility and that of many other drivers, which can easily lead to accidents. Every time I pass through here, my whole body is covered in dust, which is not only uncomfortable but also potentially harmful to respiratory health,” said a resident passing through this route.

At the intersection of Hoa Lien – Tuy Loan expressway and Hoang Van Thai route, although dust covered the entire long stretch of road, the construction unit did not arrange water spraying vehicles to limit pollution and ensure traffic safety.

The thick dust obscured the visibility of many vehicles.

On rainy days, unfinished construction roads become muddy and slippery, with accumulated mud making it difficult for vehicles to move, posing a potential risk of accidents.

During the actual inspection of the construction of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway (Da Nang) on ​​November 16, Mr. Nguyen Danh Huy, Deputy Minister of Transport, criticized the construction unit for mobilizing machinery and equipment that did not meet construction needs, the construction site was not synchronized and sloppy, the construction unit brought out machinery to "perform", and on the road, there were very grand construction signs but the construction site was deserted.
