Danang University of Education celebrates 30 years of establishment of Faculty of Psychology, Education and Social Work

DNO - On the morning of October 11, the Faculty of Psychology, Education and Social Work, University of Education (University of Danang) celebrated its 30th anniversary (1995 - 2025).

The Faculty of Psychology, Education and Social Work, formerly the Faculty of Psychology - Education, was established in 1995 with the mission of training a team of educational managers, teachers of disabled children, teachers of bands and teams; and a team of experts in psychology and social work.

Over the past 30 years, the faculty has trained thousands of bachelors, masters, and doctors working in schools, hospitals, counseling centers, social organizations, etc.; actively contributing to the development of education, mental health care, and social security of the community.

The faculty currently has 8 training programs (2 bachelor programs, 5 master programs, 1 doctoral program); of which 3 training programs meet national accreditation standards (bachelor of psychology, social work and master of psychology). The number of professors, associate professors and doctors accounts for 76% of the teaching staff.

In addition to training, the faculty carries out community service activities such as: training for managers, teachers and organizing counseling and psychological support for schools; implementing social work projects.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Psychology, Education and Social Work honored staff and lecturers of all periods; and awarded scholarships to students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies.
