Ten years of cultivating a beautiful tradition
More than 10 years ago, from a small idea of the Youth Union of the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University, the topic "Practice beautiful handwriting" was initiated and maintained regularly until now. Accompanying the program from the beginning is Ms. Linh Phuong - a former student of this school, also the founder of Linh Phuong Thai Nguyen Beautiful Handwriting Center.
As a former student of education, Ms. Phuong understands better than anyone the value of each word in the teaching profession. Over the past 10 years, she has been both a guide and an inspiration to many generations of education students – those who are preparing to embark on the journey of sowing words and cultivating people.
Initially, only a few dozen students participated, but now the class has become a traditional activity, attracting a large number of students from all faculties, especially the Faculty of Primary Education - where teachers are trained to teach students to write their first strokes. For them, practicing calligraphy is not only about learning how to write beautifully, but also about cultivating patience and carefulness - qualities that make an exemplary teacher.
Classes with Ms. Linh Phuong always leave a special impression. There, students not only learn how to hold a pen and place their hands, but also learn how to train themselves: from patience, carefulness to love for the teaching profession.
The topic of Beautiful Writing Practice has been organized by the Youth Union of Thai Nguyen University of Education in collaboration with Linh Phuong Thai Nguyen Beautiful Writing Center for more than 10 years. This is a meaningful activity of the Youth Union to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the school's tradition and the anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.

The flame lasts through generations
From being a student of the calligraphy class years ago, Ms. Hoang Thi Quyet - a teacher at Tan Thanh 2 Primary School (Thai Nguyen) returned to the old lecture hall to instruct students. Her round, soft writing pages not only delighted students but also became a "standard" for generations of teachers to learn. Not only Ms. Quyet, many other former students also returned to the school to accompany the calligraphy class, as a way to continue the journey that was once inspired.
Ms. Hoang Thi Quyet shared: "When I teach, I see more clearly the value of beautiful handwriting. It not only helps students learn better but also shows respect for the profession. Returning to instruct students, I feel like I am reliving the first days of learning to write."
The well-written articles of teacher Hoang Thi Quyet are likened to small paintings, continuing the flame of beautiful handwriting that generations of Thai Nguyen pedagogical students have preserved for more than ten years. In each course, the beautiful writings of the students are selected by teacher Linh Phuong and the school, displayed in the handwriting practice room as works of art.
Each stroke of writing is the result of hours of perseverance, meticulousness and love for the teaching profession. From the way of holding the pen, adjusting posture to keeping the writing lines straight, all are wordless lessons about the attitude and sense of responsibility of a teacher. From teacher Linh Phuong to young teachers today, the journey of preserving and fueling the flame of beautiful handwriting is still being written with love for the profession and the heart of a teacher.
