
According to the Hai Phong Police, at 7:50 AM on December 14th, the 114 Command Center of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received a report of a fire at a shoe factory belonging to Oanh Van Investment Co., Ltd. in Dong Tien village, Chan Hung commune. The unit dispatched 6 fire trucks and officers to the scene to organize firefighting and rescue operations.
During the deployment process, authorities assessed that the fire was spreading rapidly and its development was complex, prompting the commander to request additional personnel and equipment. The 114 Command Center then dispatched an additional 7 fire trucks, 1 fire-fighting robot, 2 equipment transport vehicles, and 3 pumps.
By 10:30 AM the same day, the fire was largely under control. Because the fire occurred on a Sunday, when no workers were inside the factory, there were no casualties. Property damage is currently being assessed by relevant authorities. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
The scene of the fire was a shoe manufacturing factory belonging to Oanh Van Investment Limited Company, covering an area of approximately 13,000 square meters.
