The Dak Lak Provincial Coastal Road Project plays a crucial role in connecting coastal transportation and promoting the province's socio -economic development. During implementation, the project is divided into three independent phases to suit available investment capital; these include: the section connecting Binh Kien Ward to Tuy An Dong Commune; the section north of An Hai Bridge (in Tuy An Dong Commune); and the section connecting Xuan Dai Ward to Tuy An Dong Commune. Over 1,600 households are subject to compensation, land clearance, and resettlement (not including the section connecting Xuan Dai Ward to Tuy An Dong Commune).

According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern Region of Dak Lak Province, the Dak Lak Coastal Road project, connecting Binh Kien Ward to Tuy An Dong Commune, is currently under construction as planned, with 6.7/14.67 km of land handed over. The contractor for this section is Son Hai Group Co., Ltd., which is implementing various tasks such as excavating organic matter, treating weak soil, excavating and filling the roadbed, and producing concrete components. The project's value to date exceeds 129 billion VND. The total capital allocated to the project is 1,618 billion VND, reaching 85% of the project's capital requirement (1,900 billion VND); disbursements have reached nearly 739 billion VND.

Regarding the construction project for the northern section of An Hai Bridge, the local authorities have handed over 4.8 out of 7.48 km of the construction site, reaching 64%. The roadbed, drainage system, foundation, and surface paving are being implemented simultaneously. The value of construction work completed to date has reached over 183 billion VND. The total capital allocated to the project is 600 billion VND, with over 313 billion VND disbursed. The investor and contractors have developed a detailed schedule and are striving to complete the entire project in 2026.

Regarding the project to construct the section connecting Xuan Dai ward to Tuy An Dong commune, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern region of Dak Lak province stated that the project is currently in the investment preparation phase. The investment policy proposal report has been submitted to the Department of Finance for appraisal through relevant documents and submissions. According to the plan, the project will be submitted, appraised, and approved in the first quarter of 2026, and the investment project will be approved in the second quarter of 2026 to proceed with the next steps.

Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, has requested that localities and relevant units focus intensely on land clearance and resettlement for the Dak Lak Coastal Road Project; considering this a key task that determines the overall progress of the project. Before January 31, 2026, Binh Kien ward must complete the resettlement plan and expedite land clearance for the two resettlement areas in the ward. Local authorities must promptly hand over land in sections where land has been cleared to the contractor for construction.

The provincial leaders requested that O Loan commune complete land clearance for the Nhon Hoi resettlement area before December 31st, and strive to complete land clearance for the other two resettlement areas in O Loan commune by May 2026, as a basis for accelerating land clearance and construction of related sections. For sections where land has been cleared, the contractor should speed up progress, concentrate manpower and equipment for continuous construction, in order to generate the necessary volume for payment in December 2025.

Mr. Ta Anh Tuan also requested the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern region of Dak Lak province and related units to continue focusing on resolving difficulties, especially in land clearance, accelerating construction progress and capital disbursement, ensuring that the component projects of the Dak Lak Coastal Road Project are implemented according to plan and meet the set objectives.
