Sharing in an interview on June 14, the Spanish coach said: "Everything is going very positively. Step by step, I am starting to understand the players, getting the necessary contact. Today, Lunin, Vinicius and Arda Guler were in training, and we will start to form the squad."
When asked if he had picked his starting lineup for the match against Al Hilal on June 19, Alonso said briefly: "Not yet, it's still too early."
