- Musician LE ANH TU: At this time, within the professional framework, I see many creative campaigns on the theme of the city, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, organized by many agencies and departments. For me, this activity is extremely meaningful. Since it is my special job, I see this as an opportunity for me to compose and express my feelings for the great event of the city.

The song "The most beautiful city in my heart" adds my thoughts about the city. It is not only my thoughts and love for the city but also my belief and hope in daily change.

Can you share your feelings when composing the above song?

- As someone who was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, to me, the city is the most beautiful place, the most livable place in my heart. Therefore, I chose the right name "The most beautiful city in my heart" for this composition. In it is all the love I have for the city written with my belief and hope that everyone will sing it together.

For me, the city is always creative and meaningful, a destination for many friends around the world. I have many memories associated with the city. The more I write, the more I see how strangely beautiful my city is and the emotions are always overflowing in my heart.

Do you think the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification is an opportunity for composers to create meaningful songs?

- That's right, the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association has also launched many composition campaigns on the theme of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. From 2023 to now, the association has also collected many good works with high artistic value and is continuing to launch them for members. In addition, the Lao Dong Newspaper and the Department of Culture and Sports have also launched them, creating a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere for musicians.

- As I said, about Ho Chi Minh City, I have many songs, for example the children's song "Uncle Ho's City" written for children, living and growing up in the city named after Uncle Ho is a matter of pride. In the near future, I will complete and release a song written for children titled "I love Uncle Ho's City" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

For me, works about love for the homeland have always been the subject of many composers. This genre of songs also easily touches the hearts of listeners. My music especially focuses on the element of "being easy to sing, easy to listen to, and having gentle and familiar lyrics". For me, this way, the song will be easier to sing and easier to touch people's hearts.

This is the first time that Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper has organized a creative writing contest to respond to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. What are your beliefs and expectations for the contest?

- Honestly, the theme of the city has many authors, the works of the previous generation and the young people are very good. I joined with the desire to contribute my voice to the contest. Winning the prize is fun, but not winning the prize is also fun. In a creative movement, there are many entries. The organizers only need to find one good work among hundreds of works, which is also a success.

Therefore, if there are many creative campaigns, spread through promotional campaigns, it will stimulate and increase the popularity of award-winning works. Music needs to be played, played often so that listeners can feel and remember that work, and from there, love it.

I believe that with its enthusiasm, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper will completely meet the expectations of the participants in the songwriting campaign as well as spread songs written on the theme "The Country is Full of Joy" to all classes of people.

The songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" is organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
