Ho Chi Minh City - On the evening of April 20th, General Secretary To Lam attended the art program "The Nation's Complete Joy" held at the Reunification Hall.

The art program "The Nation's Complete Joy" is part of a series of events and activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the Reunification of the Country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The program is directed by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence ; the content and artistic direction are overseen by the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army; the Propaganda Department organizes its implementation; and Military Region 7 takes the lead in coordinating its execution.

Attending the program were: General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; and former Standing Member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh.

Also attending the program were members of the Politburo: Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee; Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security; and Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

In addition, the program was attended by former members of the Central Committee of the Party; leaders and former leaders of central ministries, departments and agencies; representatives of local leaders; delegates of veteran revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, generals of the People's Armed Forces, etc.

The program featured performances by renowned artists and singers such as People's Artist Thanh Thúy, People's Artist Tự Long, People's Artist Thùy Linh, Meritorious Artist Vũ Thắng Lợi, Meritorious Artist Phương Anh, singers Tùng Dương and Cẩm Vân, the group "Brothers Overcoming Thousands of Thorns," and more than 1,000 singers and artists from military performing arts troupes of various military regions, branches, border guards, the Army Theater, the Military University of Culture and Arts, the Army Ceremonial Troupe, amateur actors, dance schools, and universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program presented delegates and audience members with many representative songs such as: "The Country," "Melody of the Fatherland," "Unwavering Faith," "The South Will Forever Remember the Gratitude to Him," "Song of Hope," "Unforgettable Song," "The Color of the Soldier's Uniform," "For the People, We Forget Ourselves," "Truong Sa Military Song," "The Country's Complete Joy," "Spring in Ho Chi Minh City,"...

With melodies imbued with profound meaning, the performances of the program "The Nation's Complete Joy" focus on praising love for the homeland, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and portraying the noble image of the Ho Chi Minh's soldiers. The program also brings to the audience melodies of pride, melodies of a peaceful and renewed nation, melodies carrying the aspirations of the entire nation as it enters an era of progress.

The program "The Nation's Complete Joy" lasted 90 minutes and featured 19 artistic performances, structured into three chapters: "Aspiration for Unification," "Aspiration for Advancement," and "Aspiration for National Strength."

The program affirms the strong belief and aspiration for national development in the new era, in line with the spirit of Ho Chi Minh City over the past 50 years, rising from hardship to become the leading economic and cultural center of the country.
