On the morning of December 11th, at the Party Central Headquarters, the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, Waste, and Negative Phenomena (Central Steering Committee) held a conference to summarize the work on anti-corruption, waste, and negative phenomena during the term of the 13th Party Congress.
General Secretary To Lam, Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena, chaired the conference.
Also attending were members of the Politburo : President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Standing Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
Comrades Phan Đình Trạc, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and Standing Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee; Lê Minh Hưng, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Organization Commission, and Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee; and General Lương Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security, and Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee, attended the Conference.

Attending the Conference were: members of the Politburo, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Party, members of the Central Committee of the Party, members of the Central Steering Committee, leaders of the Government, the National Assembly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, representatives of the Central Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, leaders of central ministries and agencies, Secretaries of Provincial and City Party Committees, Standing Committees of provincial-level Steering Committees; Heads of agencies and units with functions in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena at the central and local levels; and officials and civil servants working on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena...
The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, across more than 4,000 locations including central ministries, departments, and agencies; military regions, branches of the armed forces; and provinces, cities, communes, wards, and special zones nationwide, with a total of over 190,000 delegates.

The conference aims to comprehensively summarize the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena nationwide from the beginning of the 13th Party Congress term to the present, with the requirement of fully, accurately, and objectively assessing the results achieved, summarizing experiences, effective methods, and successful lessons in leadership, guidance, and implementation by Party committees, Party organizations, Steering Committees at all levels, agencies with functions in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena, and the entire political system in this work.
At the same time, the Conference also assessed and pointed out the remaining limitations, weaknesses, and unachieved achievements, along with their causes. Based on this, it accurately predicted the situation and formulated appropriate policies, tasks, and solutions for the fight against corruption, waste, and negative phenomena in the coming period, aiming for solid results, contributing to the purification of the Party and State apparatus and the political system, further enhancing the Party's prestige among the people, and actively contributing to the country's development and breakthroughs in the new era of development.
