Over the years, deeply understanding the guiding principles of the Party and the Central Military Commission, the Party Committee of the General Political Department has identified the prevention and fight against corruption, waste, and negative phenomena as a key political task, implementing comprehensive solutions; especially promoting the role, effectiveness, and efficiency of Party work and political work in carrying out this important task.

Accordingly, the General Political Department directed the strengthening of political and ideological propaganda and education ; organized the study and thorough understanding of the Party's resolutions, directives, and regulations; advised on the development of Resolution No. 847 of the Central Military Commission on promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and resolutely combating individualism in the new situation; organized the study, understanding, and implementation of the 2018 Law on Prevention and Combat of Corruption; the book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong"; and the annual thematic study on learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, which has contributed to raising the sense of responsibility and the exemplary role of cadres and Party members, especially the cadres at the campaign and strategic levels; creating positive changes in political thought, morality, lifestyle, work style; organizational discipline and internal unity.

In particular, the implementation of the above-mentioned policies and regulations has contributed to strengthening the discipline and order of the Party; enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members; contributing to preventing and repelling degradation, corruption, and negative phenomena; and consolidating the confidence of cadres and Party members in the Party's leadership.

The Party Committee of the General Political Department and the Party committees and organizations at all levels within the Party Committee of the Army have proactively developed, promulgated, amended, and supplemented regulations and rules after the Party congresses, especially working regulations and regulations on leading key areas of work that are closely aligned with their functions and tasks; promoting democracy, openness, and transparency in leadership, direction, management, and implementation activities.

Effectively protect internal political security and build unity and solidarity within Party committees, agencies, and units. Implement inspection and supervision effectively, especially in key areas prone to corruption. Promote the exemplary role of leaders of Party committees, agencies, and units; practice what you preach, seriously engage in self-reflection and self-correction, and contribute to spreading a culture of integrity within the organization.

Regularly pay attention to and do a good job in policy work, understand and promptly address the concerns, aspirations, and legitimate rights of officers, staff, and soldiers; effectively implement democratic regulations, and promptly detect and handle emerging issues at the grassroots level...
