After 1 year of planting, the bananas bore fruit, the price was stable, bringing the family a good income. In 2022, Mr. Truong's family began to expand the planting area to 3 hectares.

Mr. Ban Dinh Truong, Ban Mo 1 village, Xuan Hoa commune, Bao Yen district shared: "Cinnamon is long-lived, takes a long time to harvest, switching to banana growing, the work is easier, each day only spends 2-3 hours monitoring pests and weeding".
Thanks to the connection of the local government, all bananas of Mr. Truong's family and local households were purchased by Thuong Nong Phu Tho Agricultural Cooperative at a stable price of 3,000 - 5,000 VND/kg. Mr. Truong's family alone produces an average of 3,000 banana trees each year, yielding about 75 tons of fruit, bringing in more than 300 million VND. In addition to the fruit, Mr. Truong's family also collects, dries and sells banana leaves for 10 - 12 thousand VND/kg.

In 2024, Mr. Ban Dinh Truong's family received 25 million VND from the Bao Yen District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to build a factory and invest in 3 banana fiber separation machines to serve fiber export. Successful implementation, each kilogram of qualified dried banana fiber is sold for 90 - 120 thousand VND. Thereby, helping to increase family income and create jobs for many local workers.

Mr. Hoang Van Hop, Ban Mo 1 village, Xuan Hoa commune, Bao Yen district shared: "Before, after harvesting the fruit, the trees were cut down. If there is a workshop, this year after harvesting, we will sell the shells to Mr. Truong. If you have a job, you can also work with him to increase your income."
Mr. Co Van Chuong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Hoa Commune, Bao Yen District, said: “The whole commune has 56 hectares of banana plantations, with the goal of having another 300 hectares by 2030. Based on the effectiveness of Mr. Truong’s workshop model, we continue to cooperate with the cooperative to expand the workshop and growing area.”
