Along with the modern tower-shaped architecture, the Tu Lien Bridge has just been requested by the City People's Committee to be completed by departments and branches to start construction in the near future. It is designed in a twisted cable-stayed form with the idea of a dragon flying up.
Currently, the Hanoi Department of Transport and the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board) are completing the investment preparation plan for the Tu Lien Bridge project with a total cost of more than 19,000 billion VND.
Along with that, Hanoi Transport Department is also working with construction consultants to specify the architectural ideas of Tu Lien bridge.
Accordingly, in addition to reducing traffic congestion and providing more connections to the East of Anh, which is about to become a district, Tu Lien Bridge also serves as the 7th gateway to the North of Hanoi.
The design of Tu Lien Bridge has recently been in collaboration with and architectural plans have been developed by experts from the US.
Up to now, the design idea of Tu Lien bridge has been built by the Consulting unit with the shape of a cable-stayed bridge combined with a torsion bridge.
With this design, Tu Lien Bridge will be the second bridge in Hanoi to be built as a cable-stayed bridge after Nhat Tan Bridge.
However, unlike Nhat Tan Bridge, Tu Lien Bridge was conceived as a cable-stayed bridge combined with twisted cables, creating a difference in architecture.
Along with that, the design of the bridge bears the cultural and historical features of the capital Hanoi, with the main subject being the image of 4 dragons flying high in the sky, combined with a cable-stayed system like water jets clinging to the dragon's body, creating a unique and impressive image.
