NDO - On the morning of April 25, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Geneva Agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Vietnam (July 21, 1954 - July 21, 2024) with the theme "Geneva Agreement 1954 - Great victory of the Vietnamese people on the path to protecting national independence and territorial integrity".

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central External Relations Commission; Tran Luu Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister .

Also attending were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of families of members of the negotiating delegation of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam participating in the negotiation, signing and implementation of the Agreement; Ambassadors, representatives of foreign representative agencies in Hanoi , experts, historical researchers...

The celebration was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized in person and online, connecting with all Vietnamese representative agencies abroad.
