Despite being approached by two Brazilian teams, Antony is determined not to return to his homeland this summer.

According to Antenados , Antony received two transfer offers from Botafogo and Sao Paulo. However, the 25-year-old star refused and wanted to continue playing football in Europe.

Previously, Betis was the team that wanted to welcome Antony. However, the La Liga club could not meet the price of 30 million euros to buy a percentage of Antony's ownership as requested by MU. Betis only wanted to borrow the former Ajax star for another season, with a clause to buy him outright next summer.

Recently, Al Nassr also expressed interest in Antony. However, the Brazilian star is still indifferent and inclined to choose to play for Betis.

Antony spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Betis, scoring nine goals in 26 appearances, helping the Spanish side qualify for next season's Europa League.
