The above information was emphasized at the program "Europe full of traditional flavors and quality" organized by the Polish Embassy in coordination with the Department of Trade Investment and the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City.
Representatives of Polish businesses affirmed that products from Poland meet strict EU standards on quality, food safety and animal welfare.
According to the Polish National Agricultural Support Center, in just five years, the value of Polish food exports to Vietnam has tripled, from 66 million Euros to 200 million Euros. However, the trade balance is still tilted towards Vietnam. Therefore, Poland aims to expand exports of key products such as beef, pork, poultry, milk, apples, etc., while increasing imports of coffee, pepper, and rice - typical Vietnamese products.
Figures from the General Department of Customs show that 2024 marked a record in bilateral trade relations, with import-export turnover reaching 3.46 billion USD, up 21.6% over the previous year. Poland is currently Vietnam's largest export market in Central Eastern Europe, with key products including seafood, textiles, coffee and cashew nuts.
Representatives of Polish businesses affirmed that their products all meet the strict standards of the European Union on quality, food safety and animal welfare, which are considered major competitive advantages in the Vietnamese market.
