Bac Kan is a mountainous province in the North with beautiful natural landscapes, diverse ecosystems, many historical relics, famous landscapes such as Ba Be Lake, Puong Cave, Hua Ma Cave, ATK Cho Don... Along with that is a rich ethnic culture with 7 ethnic groups living together, creating a unique cultural identity, a great potential for developing types of ecotourism , community tourism, cultural and spiritual tourism.

Plan No. 306/KH-UBND sets out four key tasks: Strengthening tourism promotion and advertising; diversifying and improving the quality of tourism products and services; promoting digital transformation in tourism; strengthening state management and coordination of implementation.

One of the contents that the province focuses on is to promote the image of Bac Kan tourism through modern media channels; proactively participate in tourism stimulus programs; encourage officials, workers and students to participate in tours to experience and explore culture and history right in the locality.

Along with that, the province requires localities to focus on building new tourism products associated with cultural identity, rural landscapes, traditional craft villages; at the same time, improving service quality, training tourism human resources, investing in infrastructure and support services. The application of digital technology is also promoted such as deploying tourism databases, destination information by QR code, encouraging electronic payments...

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The province will focus on removing difficulties, creating favorable conditions in terms of policies, infrastructure and investment environment to attract businesses, while encouraging the participation of people and communities in local tourism development.

Along with professional solutions, the province requires departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate and effectively implement programs to develop specific tourism products, manage destinations, build mechanisms to attract investment and enhance the role of the community in tourism development. Training, communication and promotion work is also assigned specific targets for each unit, ensuring effectiveness and practicality.

Currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is coordinating with sectors and localities to synchronously implement the proposed solutions. The Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion focuses on building tour routes and connecting destinations; the finance, agriculture and industry sectors are also involved in mobilizing resources and effectively linking regions.

With synchronous, systematic and drastic solutions, Bac Kan hopes to create a breakthrough in tourism development, contributing to the target of double-digit economic growth in 2025 and the following years./.
