Bac Ninh plans to spend 147 billion VND to support officials affected by the rearrangement.

In the next two years, Bac Ninh province plans to allocate 147 billion VND to support more than 2,400 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers affected by the rearrangement of administrative units at the provincial and commune levels.

On October 2, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province held a regular meeting for September 2025. During the meeting, delegates approved the content submitted to the People's Council on policies to support cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers affected by the rearrangement of administrative units at the provincial and commune levels.

Specifically, Bac Ninh province plans to support accommodation and travel expenses for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers who have to change their workplace after the reorganization.

If you have to travel 20 - 30km, you will receive 3 million VND/person/month, from 30 - 40km, you will receive 3.7 million VND/person/month, from 40 - 50km, you will receive 4.5 million VND/person/month.

For distances of 50km or more, support is 5.2 million VND/person/month.

For mountainous communes and ethnic minority areas, the distance is calculated to be reduced by 5km compared to the above regulations.

The total estimated cost is about 147 billion VND, supporting for two years, from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assessed that changing the workplace far from the new administrative center will cause many difficulties such as living expenses, affecting family life and children's education. The support policy aims to encourage and create conditions for cadres to feel secure in their work and stay with their agencies and units during the transition period.

At the conference, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan said that in the first 9 months of 2025, the province's growth reached 10.7%, but the target is 11.5%, so the fourth quarter must grow 12.3%, a huge pressure.

Therefore, departments and branches must focus and take responsibility for advising, urging, and proposing solutions to remove bottlenecks and difficulties.

Regarding the disbursement of public investment capital, this is a " political order", so the places with projects must be responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. After the conference, the Department of Finance must report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the units that performed well and poorly to commend and criticize publicly.

Statistics from the authorities of Bac Ninh province show that more than 1,000 officials, civil servants, public employees and workers from Bac Ninh province (old) came to work at provincial agencies at the Bac Ninh Provincial Administrative Center (new). About 1,400 people from the district to the commune had to travel 20km.
