Bac Ninh: Meeting and honoring outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs

Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Phan The Tuan, Ngo Tan Phuong; representatives of departments, branches, units, organizations, business associations and nearly 300 enterprises operating in the province.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate businesses and entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized the important significance of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13) every year. This is a historical milestone, demonstrating the attention, recognition and appreciation of the Party, State and People for the role of entrepreneurs in the cause of building and developing the country.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that currently, there are about 961 thousand enterprises operating nationwide. Particularly, from 2024 to the end of October 2025, there will be 231 thousand newly established and restored enterprises. This number shows the trust and confidence of the business community when investing in Vietnam, including Bac Ninh province.

In recent years, despite the complicated fluctuations in the world and domestic economic situation, Bac Ninh province has remained steadfast in its growth target, maintaining itself as one of the leading dynamically developing localities in the country, with the great and persistent contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs.

The 1st Congress of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, has identified the strategic goal of turning Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030 and by 2045 into a green, civilized city with a strong Kinh Bac cultural identity. To realize that goal and aspiration, the province has set out key and outstanding targets such as: Average GRDP growth rate in the period 2026 - 2030 reaching 11-12%/year; GRDP per capita reaching 8,700 - 9,200 USD; urbanization rate reaching about 65%...

Authorized by the President, Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to businessman Nguyen The Hong, Director of Nam Hong Royal Museum Limited Liability Company.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed about the province's outstanding economic indicators in the first 9 months of 2025. Based on the achieved results, it can be affirmed that the business community and entrepreneurs of Bac Ninh province are the central and mainstay force, contributing significantly to the new appearance and stature of Bac Ninh province today - a developed, dynamic, integrated and promising industrial locality. During the development process, many enterprises have continuously invested in technological innovation, brand building, sustainable development and strong integration.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated the goals, orientations and development solutions of the province in the coming time such as: The province prioritizes three strategic breakthroughs including institutional and policy breakthroughs, human resource breakthroughs, and infrastructure breakthroughs.

Accordingly, the province speeds up the adjustment of the provincial planning; invests in strategic transport infrastructure to exploit advantages, open up new development space, and develop harmoniously the province. In addition, the province implements social security policies well, creating breakthroughs in health care and education development, and taking care of vulnerable groups.

Bac Ninh Provincial Government regularly accompanies, listens, receives and resolves all difficulties and problems of enterprises; creating a favorable environment for business operations.

Comrades Nguyen Viet Oanh and Pham Van Thinh awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to enterprises with great contributions to the provincial budget.

On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan warmly commended and deeply expressed gratitude for the tireless efforts, creativity, innovation, bravery and high social responsibility of the business community and entrepreneurs of Bac Ninh province in the past time.

He hopes that businesses will increasingly shine, develop sustainably, and contribute more positively to the socio-economic development of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha received funds to support people affected by natural disasters from businesses.

At the conference, the provincial leaders presented congratulatory flower baskets to representatives of business associations. In order to recognize and honor the pioneering and outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs in Bac Ninh province, authorized by the President, the provincial leaders presented the Second Class Labor Medal to businessman Nguyen The Hong, Director of Nam Hong Royal Museum Limited Liability Company.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 26 enterprises that have made large contributions to the state budget and actively participated in charity and social security activities.

At the conference, dozens of businesses supported flood victims through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province with a total amount of about 4 billion VND.
