Due to the influence of storm No. 5, the water level on Luc Nam River rose. At 9:00 a.m. on August 26, at Cam Dan Hydrological Station, it reached above alert level 3; at Chu Hydrological Station, it was below alert level 1, and will likely reach alert levels 1 and 2. In the next 24 hours, flood water levels in the downstream of Luc Nam River will remain high, with the risk of affecting dikes at key locations; deep flooding, flooding of riverside areas, low-lying areas, and large-scale flooding, which can endanger people's lives and production. Therefore, it is recommended that functional agencies and local authorities proactively take response measures to minimize damage caused by floods. |
