Mr. Nguyen Xuan Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province, said: The theme of the province's exhibition is "Bac Ninh - a thousand years of culture - Aspiration to rise in the new era".
The exhibition booth will introduce outstanding achievements in politics , economy, culture - society, science - technology, national defense - security, foreign affairs through 6 modules: Overview with the theme "Bac Ninh in the flow of national history"; Achievements in politics, national defense - security and foreign affairs; Achievements in economic development; Achievements in science - technology; Achievements in culture - society; Bac Ninh people are dynamic, creative and have aspirations to reach far.
The provincial exhibition area is at Booth H7 – 021, Kim Quy House, in the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi ).
Also according to the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh, in order to attract, introduce and promote to the public, delegates and visitors to the Exhibition, the province will organize many cultural and artistic activities in coordination with technological equipment to bring attractive, interactive and highly experiential programs.
Specifically, from August 30 to September 3, there will be activities to experience making Dong Ho folk paintings and experience printing woodblocks at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda by the Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center, Thuan Thanh Ward.
Here, artisans demonstrate the process of making paintings, display woodblock prints, and famous works: The Mouse Wedding, The Yin-Yang Pigs, Glory and Prosperity, The Boy Riding a Buffalo and Playing the Flute , etc. Visitors can experience printing paintings, interact, and exchange with artisans.
At the central stage in the square house block A (opposite to Kim Quy House), there will be an exhibition of woodblocks of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (documentary heritage of the Asia-Pacific region). Artists will perform and guide delegates and visitors to experience printing the words "Cu tran lac dao phu" on Do paper, learn about typical prints and engravings.
With the program “3-region culinary train” in the Western area of the Exhibition, Bac Ninh will join 33 provinces and cities to display and introduce typical specialties of each region. 34 culinary booths are 34 train cars symbolizing the culinary train across Vietnam from the homeland to Ca Mau Cape.
In the train of Bac Ninh, there will be the characteristics of Quan Ho cuisine: artists perform, prepare, and introduce the "Quan Ho 9-dish vegetarian tray", especially traditional cakes (banh khuc, che hoa cau, banh te, banh gai...).
Besides, there are 17 specialties and OCOP products of the province: My Do dried tea from Da Mai ward, Luc Ngan dried lychee, yellow flower tea from the foot of Tay Yen Tu mountain; Van village wine, Ban Ven tea, Thi Cau five-color cake, Bui spring rolls...
The highlight of the Bac Ninh culinary car is that visitors can immerse themselves in the Quan Ho cultural space: Quan Ho artists perform ancient melodies: Invite water, invite betel, Sit on the boat's side, Don't come back ... Visitors can also enjoy betel leaves wrapped in phoenix wings, drink tea, interact, and learn about Quan Ho culture.
In addition, along with Quan Ho, other types of intangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO are also performed at the central stage of the square house block A arranged by the Central Organizing Committee.
Accordingly, on September 1 (morning and afternoon, each session lasts 30 minutes), Quan Ho folk songs, Ca Tru, Then singing - Tinh lute will be performed with special performances, promoting Bac Ninh cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO.
“The contents displayed at the Exhibition aim to introduce to the public, visitors and delegates a comprehensive Bac Ninh province after the merger.
At the same time, it affirms the stature, identity and aspirations of a dynamic Bac Ninh, which is making strong breakthroughs in its 80-year journey accompanying the country," Mr. Nguyen Xuan Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province, emphasized.
The exhibition will be a destination for tourists and travel agencies to organize 1-2 day tours on the occasion of September 2nd to learn about history and explore the culture and society of each locality...
The exhibition “National Achievements” with the theme “80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness”, opened on August 28 and will last until September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi).
The exhibition is an event to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam, affirming the great achievements over 80 years of building, protecting and developing the Fatherland; propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, strengthening people's belief in the path of innovation and sustainable development of the country.
