VFF leaders encourage Vietnam women's team before training trip to Japan
The Korean coach shared his feelings of excitement and nervousness when leading the U22 Vietnam team at the SEA Games for the first time, and affirmed that the team will do their best to achieve the set goals.

Coach Mai Duc Chung reported on the preparation process of the Vietnamese women's team with 10 days of quality training in Japan and full facilities in terms of field and nutrition, as well as three useful friendly matches.
Meanwhile, coach Diego Giustozzi said the men's Futsal team has been well prepared to cope with the tight schedule of four consecutive matches in four days. Coach Giustozzi emphasized that the whole team will enter the tournament with the mindset of four final matches, determined to change the color of the medal.
Although the women's Futsal team was not present in person, they sent a report on their training in China, notably the 2-2 draw against the Chinese team with two leads in the afternoon of the same day, showing clear progress of the whole team.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee, speaking at the meeting, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan acknowledged the persistent efforts of the teams throughout the preparation period, and reviewed the outstanding achievements of Vietnamese football in 2025.
Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan also noted the new difficulties and challenges at the 33rd SEA Games, including the naturalization trend of many teams in the region, requiring the coaching staff and players to carefully study their opponents, maintain maximum concentration and maintain a spirit of respect and professionalism.
Each player is reminded to be an image ambassador of Vietnamese football, to compete fiercely but always uphold the spirit of Fair Play and solidarity.

VFF leaders expect the U22 team, women's team and women's Futsal team to participate in the finals of the 33rd SEA Games, while the men's Futsal team sets the highest goal of changing the color of the medal after many bronze medal wins.
With careful preparation and determination, VFF leaders believe that the teams will bring worthy performances, dedicate themselves to the fans and continue to affirm the position of Vietnamese football in the regional arena.
