Bac Ninh: Speeding up construction of factories in industrial parks

BAC NINH - Bac Ninh is an attractive and potential destination, especially in the field of industrial development. Thanks to effective investment attraction policies and a favorable business environment, more and more enterprises choose the province as a place to set up production facilities. Immediately after completing legal procedures, investors quickly started building factories in industrial parks.

Speed up progress and put the project into use soon

SUNWODA Vietnam Co., Ltd. is currently operating in Van Trung Industrial Park. With a long-term development orientation, this enterprise has invested in building a new factory in Yen Lu Industrial Park, specializing in the production of lithium-ion batteries and battery modules. The project has a total investment of more than 58 million USD and is expected to be completed and put into use in the third quarter of 2026. After completing the investment and construction of the new factory, SUNWODA will be the first factory to produce 3C lithium-ion batteries in Vietnam.

Cooler Master Limited Company plans to put its factory in Gia Binh Industrial Park into operation in early 2026.

In recent days, taking advantage of favorable weather, the contractor has mobilized maximum manpower and equipment to speed up the construction progress. In order to limit dust, protect the environment and not affect the operations of neighboring businesses, the contractor has proactively cleaned the wheels at the entrance to the construction site for vehicles transporting raw materials. Workers are assigned to be on duty regularly to collect scattered sand and dirt, keeping the construction area clean. According to Mr. Ly Duy Nang, Deputy General Director of the Company, increasing investment in Bac Ninh is not only to expand production scale but also a step for SUNWODA to penetrate deeper into the markets of Southeast Asia, Europe and America.

According to the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, there are currently about 70 projects under construction in the province's industrial parks, concentrated in Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park, Quang Chau Industrial Park, and Que Vo Industrial Park.

Along with SUNWODA, Cooler Master Co., Ltd. is also implementing a project to build a factory on an area of 10 hectares in Gia Binh Industrial Park. This factory will focus on producing cooling modules for AI servers, machine learning systems and precision air conditioners using liquid cooling technology for data centers. The project includes main items such as a production area with automatic lines, an operating area and auxiliary works (fences, gates, garages, etc.) and a wastewater treatment area. Phase I of the project is expected to be operational in early 2026. Cooler Master currently has a factory in Huizhou (China) and a network of representative offices in many countries such as the United States, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany, Russia and Brazil.

In the coming time, Cooler Master will continue to expand its production scale in Bac Ninh, and at the same time call for supporting businesses and partners to invest in Gia Binh Industrial Park. This is a step to stabilize and proactively supply chain, meeting the increasing demand of the global technology market.

Actively support and ensure project quality

This success is not only due to the advantage of a convenient geographical location for transporting and circulating import and export goods, abundant labor resources, and synchronous industrial infrastructure, but also due to the active support of local authorities throughout the investment process. Enterprises are fully supported from policy consulting, guidance on legal procedures to completing investment license dossiers, business registration, land lease and processing of certificates. "The province also established a special working group to support SUNWODA's investment, helping enterprises save a lot of time" - said Mr. Ly Duy Nang, Deputy General Director of SUNWODA Vietnam Limited Liability Company.

Seojin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park) built a new factory to expand production scale.

It is known that up to now, Bac Ninh province has planned 50 concentrated industrial parks, with a total area of over 15 thousand hectares; 32 industrial parks have been established, with an area of 9,700 hectares; more than 20 industrial parks have been put into operation. All industrial parks have invested in synchronous infrastructure. In addition to supporting businesses in investing, the Industrial Park Management Board regularly organizes reviews of the progress of infrastructure investment projects, and at the same time directs investors as well as secondary investors to strictly comply with legal regulations on construction. Dissemination and guidance work for businesses in industrial parks is implemented synchronously to ensure construction order, construction quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation. Through inspection, project owners basically comply with regulations, ensure construction quality and no serious incidents occur during construction.

According to Mr. Nguyen Nhu Long, Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, in the coming time, the Board will continue to develop and implement a plan to inspect compliance with construction laws and regulations, focusing on construction order management at works in industrial parks in the area. Strengthen coordination with relevant departments and branches to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the field of construction investment. In order to achieve high results in this work, the Board recommends that the Department of Construction regularly organize training courses for enterprises, thereby promptly disseminating, guiding and disseminating policies and legal regulations on construction investment and construction order management, helping enterprises raise awareness and comply with regulations during project implementation.
