Handing over motorbikes to the Military Command of the commune in Cao Bang

Cao Bang Provincial Military Command, General Department of Logistics and Engineering (Ministry of National Defense) has handed over 2-wheeled motorbikes to serve the work of the Commune-level Military Command in Cao Bang province.

112 motorbikes were handed over to serve the work of the Military Command at the commune level in Cao Bang province.

On the morning of August 23, at the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering ( Ministry of National Defense ) held a conference to hand over 2-wheeled motorbikes to serve the work of the Commune-level Military Command in Cao Bang province.

On this occasion, 112 motorbikes were handed over to the Military Command of 56 communes and wards in Cao Bang province for work.

Cao Bang and Dien Bien provinces are the first two localities in the country to receive motorbikes and hand them over to the Commune Military Command for work.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Deputy Political Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, shared that after the whole country implemented the 2-level local government model, the General Department of Logistics and Technology proposed to the superiors to purchase 2-wheeled motorbikes to equip 3,321 commune-level Military Commands, each unit with 2 motorbikes, this is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Units in Military Region 1 will be equipped with 624 motorcycles, of which Cao Bang province's military will be equipped with 112 vehicles.

The two-wheeled motorbikes selected for equipment are durable, suitable for local operations, and easy to maintain technically.

The motorcycles handed over to the unit today are not only material assets, but also demonstrate the attention of the Party and State, the determination of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in consolidating and building strong local armed forces, building a national defense foundation, and a solid people's war posture in the new period.

Affirming that providing two-wheeled motorbikes to the Commune Military Command is a practical and timely action, Major General Dam Minh Tuan, Deputy Commander of Military Region 1, shared that in the context of the distance from the commune headquarters to hamlets and to remote border areas, being provided with means of transportation will help the Commune Military Command have more means of work to carry out assigned tasks.
