
The Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Provincial People's Committee in leading and managing budget collection at tax agencies at all levels. Directing departments, branches and sectors to strengthen coordination with tax, customs and finance agencies to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to maintain and develop production and business effectively, fulfill tax obligations well, contributing to increasing sustainable budget revenue.
The Steering Committee directed localities to promptly monitor the development of budget collection, analyze, evaluate, and forecast revenue sources, specifically identify potential revenue sources, areas, and types of taxes with revenue losses and outstanding debts to promptly propose solutions for budget collection management.
In addition, direct departments, branches, localities, and relevant agencies (police, border guards, market management, etc.) to closely coordinate with revenue agencies to promote the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and tax evasion; strengthen inspection and control against budget losses, handle debt collection, and ensure a healthy and equal business environment. Implement comprehensive solutions to mobilize promptly, strive to comprehensively complete and exceed the state budget revenue in the area.
The members of the Steering Committee work part-time, coordinate regularly, continuously or ad hoc according to work requirements between departments, branches, agencies, and units. Periodically every 6 months and annually (no later than July 10 and January 10 of the following year) and ad hoc (when required), the Steering Committee members at the assigned departments, branches, agencies, units, and localities report to the Tax Department to synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee the results of the Steering Committee's activities.
The Tax Department is the standing body of the Steering Committee (assisting the head of the committee), responsible for coordinating activities between departments, branches, agencies, units, and localities in the process of implementing legal regulations on anti-budget loss work and urging the collection of tax arrears to exceed the state budget revenue estimate in the province.
