Agricultural news today (July 14): Pepper prices increased in the export market and remained stable in the domestic market; similarly, coffee and rice prices were also stable on the first day of the week.
* Pepper price : The domestic market continues to maintain a stable trend, specifically: According to records from key regions, the average pepper price is currently maintained around 139,600 VND/kg.
In Gia Lai, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, it is at 139,000 VND/kg; Lam Dong maintains the price at 140,000 VND/kg; Dak Lak at 141,000 VND/kg.
Last week, domestic pepper prices decreased by 1,000 - 3,000 VND/kg compared to the previous week, mainly due to a slight increase in supply.

The export market unexpectedly increased by 200 USD/ton. According to information from the Vietnam Pepper Association (VPA), the export price of 500 g/l black pepper is currently at 6,440 USD/ton, and 550 g/l is at 6,570 USD/ton.
The world pepper market moves sideways in many countries:
Indonesia: Lampung black pepper remained at 7,393 USD/ton, Muntok white pepper remained stable at 10,177 USD/ton; Malaysia: ASTA black pepper remained at 8,900 USD/ton, ASTA white pepper remained at 11,750 USD/ton; Brazil: Black pepper remained at 6,225 USD/ton.
* Coffee prices : In Di Linh, Lam Ha, Bao Loc (Lam Dong province) at 89,500 VND/kg; in Cu M'gar (Dak Lak) at 90,300 VND/kg; in Ea H'leo, Buon Ho at 90,200 VND/kg; in Dak Nong (Lam Dong province) at 90,300 VND/kg; in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap at 90,200 VND/kg.
In Gia Lai province, coffee price is at 90,200 VND/kg (Chu Prong), in Pleiku and Ia Grai the price is 90,100 VND/kg; in Kon Tum area (Quang Ngai province) it is purchased at 90,100 VND/kg.
In the world coffee market, at the end of the most recent trading session, the price of Robusta coffee in London for September 2025 delivery decreased by 104 USD/ton, at 3,216 USD/ton, and for November 2025 delivery decreased by 104 USD/ton, at 3,170 USD/ton.
On the New York floor, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery decreased by 1.3 cents/lb, at 286.5 cents/lb, and for December 2025 delivery decreased by 1.65 cents/lb, at 280.45 cents/lb.
At the end of the week, Robusta decreased by 399 USD/ton, Arabica decreased by 3.1 cent/lb.
* Rice price : According to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the price of OM 18 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg; OM 5451 (fresh) fluctuates at 5,900 - 6,000 VND/kg; IR 50404 (fresh) fluctuates at 5,700 - 5,800 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 fluctuates at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 (fresh) fluctuates at 6,100 - 6,200 VND/kg; OM 308 (fresh) rice fluctuates at 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg.
Regarding rice, the price of raw rice of various types: OM 18 fluctuates at 9,600 - 9,700 VND/kg; IR 504 at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; CL 555 at 8,000 - 8,100 VND/kg; OM 380 fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; 5451 at 9,100 - 9,150 VND/kg; OM 380 at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.
At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to the weekend. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is VND22,000/kg; regular rice is VND13,000 - 14,000/kg; long-grain Thai fragrant rice is VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa is VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese (China) fragrant rice is VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice is VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice is VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice is VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.
In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association, currently 5% standard rice is at 382 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 357 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 317 USD/ton.
