Over the past 7 months, the number of tourists to Hue increased by more than 71%

In the first 7 months of 2025, Hue City welcomed more than 4 million tourists, an increase of more than 71% over the same period last year, of which international visitors accounted for more than 1.2 million.

According to statistics from the Hue city tourism industry, the number of visitors staying in Hue in the past 7 months is estimated at nearly 1.5 million, an increase of more than 23% over the same period. This impressive growth is thanks to a series of large-scale cultural events and festivals held throughout, especially the Hue Festival and activities within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2025 hosted by Hue.

Special programs such as Hue Festival - Culinary Capital; Hue Community Ao Dai Festival; Miss Vietnam 2024 Final Night... attract a large number of tourists to Hue . In addition, tourism infrastructure in Hue continues to be invested in and upgraded, accommodation services, cultural and heritage experiences are significantly improved, contributing to improving service quality and increasing the length of stay of tourists.

Many tourism products in Hue launched to the public

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, said that the city is promoting its image, developing new tourism products, taking advantage of heritage combined with modern elements to increase the spending value of tourists and towards sustainable tourism development.

“With a series of events, the effects on tourism development, good service growth, and activities attracting many domestic and foreign tourists. We hope that with effects like these, by 2025 Hue city will achieve the target of welcoming about 5.5 million visitors,” said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh.
