On the afternoon of July 29, Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the National Day for National Security Protection 2025 in Binh Thuan Ward. Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Police and a large number of local officials, party members, and people.

Binh Thuan Ward is a newly established area based on the merger of Doi Can Ward and Thai Long Commune, with an area of over 46 km², a population of over 18,000 people, 29 residential groups, and 15 ethnic groups living together. The area has great potential for development, with an industrial park, relatively synchronous transportation, education, and healthcare systems; it is attracting many investment projects, creating momentum for urban, industrial, service, and high-tech agricultural development.

In the first 7 months of 2025, the security and order situation in the ward was maintained. The ward has built and maintained 14 self-management models of security and order in 29 residential groups, 1 "security surveillance camera" model, promoting the role of people in crime prevention and control. The ward police closely coordinated with the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to propagate and disseminate the law; organized dozens of legal communication sessions with over 3,000 participants. The Zalo OA page of the ward police became an effective bridge with the people, receiving hundreds of opinions and feedbacks, helping to promptly handle problems arising from the grassroots.

Speaking at the Festival, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: The movement "All people protect national security" is an extremely important task in ensuring security and order right from the grassroots. In the context that the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army are looking forward to the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Festival of All People Protecting National Security this year has even more profound significance. This is an opportunity to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, build a people's security posture associated with the people's national defense posture, creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development and maintaining political stability.

After the merger, Binh Thuan ward has expanded in scale, posing higher requirements for organizing the implementation of political tasks, including ensuring security and order. He suggested that the Party Committee, the government, the police force and mass organizations of the ward pay special attention to strengthening information and propaganda work, helping people understand, agree with and actively support the policies of the Party and the State. Along with that, it is necessary to proactively orient public opinion, thoroughly and promptly explain issues of concern to the people; effectively promote the role of grassroots cadres, have solutions to ensure security and order in a practical, effective and sustainable manner, focusing on early and remote prevention; and complete the criteria for building a typical ward in the movement of All People Protecting National Security in 2025.

Ward Party Committees and authorities need to create stronger and more substantial changes, especially when implementing the two-level local government model, before, during and after Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, preparing for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Socio-political organizations and residential groups of Binh Thuan ward signed a commitment to implement the criteria.

At the festival, many outstanding groups and individuals in maintaining security and order were recognized and rewarded. The residential groups also signed a commitment to implement the criteria of "Safety in security and order".
