On July 29, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City announced that from August 1 to 8, Da Nang City will hold a "Korean Tourist Appreciation Week in Da Nang City in 2025".
This activity is part of the 2025 tourism stimulus campaign of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the theme "Vietnam - Travel to love", implementing solutions to develop tourism in Da Nang City, promoting the image of Da Nang City to the key international market of Korea.
The week also aims to acknowledge and express gratitude for the support and positive contributions of tourism service units, especially airlines, travel companies and a large number of Korean tourists to the city's tourism development in recent times.
Da Nang City offers many gifts to Korean tourists during the gratitude week from August 1 to 8.

This is also an opportunity to introduce the new Da Nang City after merging with Quang Nam province, with many unique and classy tourism products.
There are 6 main activities including a program to welcome the 1 millionth Korean visitor on the evening of August 1 at East Sea Park, along with other lucky visitors with many attractive gifts (air tickets, experience tours, unique souvenirs...).
Korean tourists visiting Da Nang City during the week of August 1-8 will receive souvenirs from Da Nang City such as conical hats, lanterns, teddy bears, key chains, paper fans, discount vouchers, etc.
Gift receiving location at tourist information counter, international arrivals terminal, Da Nang airport or Tourist Support Center (18 Hung Vuong, Hai Chau Ward).
There is also a gratitude program to stimulate demand for international visitors in general when returning to Da Nang City. The program will be applied from August to the end of 2025 with the theme "I love Da Nang - I love Da Nang", including incentives on souvenirs, travel sim cards, service discount vouchers; 20 - 30% discount on tickets to visit Sun World Ba Na Hills and shows at Da Nang Downtown for Korean visitors with boarding passes.
Tourists can participate in lucky draws on the website, draw lots at the airport, check-in to receive gifts at destinations, hotels, golf courses, restaurants, etc.
On this occasion, Da Nang City organized a famtrip program to honor 10 major travel companies and 5 leading travel agents in Korea with activities to experience high-class tourism services, new tourism products such as health care, golf, culture, cuisine... from August 1 to 5.
In August, Korean KOLs were invited to experience high-end resort tourism, new products and introduce a campaign accompanying Da Nang City.
On August 4, at Montgomerie Links Golf Club, there will also be the Korea - Da Nang 2025 Golf Exchange Tournament and a gala to honor strategic partners, leading tourist transport units to Da Nang City, airlines operating the route, and Da Nang - Korea tourism agencies and businesses.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, Korea is one of the key tourist markets, leading for many years and accounting for the largest proportion of international visitors to Da Nang City with more than 40%.
In addition to expanding to exploit new international tourist markets such as Central Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Europe, etc., Da Nang City continues to focus on consolidating Da Nang's position as a top favorite destination for Korean tourists.
