Tourists recount seeing Suzy jogging at West Lake

At around 10:30 a.m. on November 30, while walking along West Lake with her sister looking for a coffee shop, Muc Huyen Linh (in Da Nang ) suddenly saw a group of Koreans jogging along the lake.

She recognized the girl wearing simple but body-hugging sportswear , "looking quite similar to Suzy". Before that, Linh had no idea the Korean actress was in Hanoi so she was still hesitant.

She posted the video on her personal page, asking the online community to confirm whether the person appearing in the frame is really "national first love" Suzy or not.

Many people quickly realized that the actress was in Vietnam to film, others also shared the moment they saw Suzy jogging at West Lake.

"At that time, I just observed and filmed from afar, not wanting to disturb Suzy. It was only a few minutes, but I really didn't believe I could meet the female idol in real life so close," Linh told Tri Thuc - Znews.

In the video, the actress appears in a tight sports outfit, a matching black hat, light makeup and natural hair. She jogs with a few people who are believed to be the film crew.

In real life, Suzy is said to have a well-proportioned body, smooth skin, and the "national first love" vibe.

Some people noticed that the guy running behind her was handsome Kim Seon Ho. He was wearing sportswear, a baseball cap and sunglasses.

The two are said to be in Hanoi to film the movie Portraits Of Delusion , directed by Han Jae Rim - the man behind works such as The King , The Face Reader and The Eight Show .

This is a rare occasion for Suzy to return to Vietnam, after the Hec Korea Festival in 2014 with members of the group Miss A.

Huyen Linh's video quickly attracted more than 2 million views and thousands of comments just one day after being posted.

She said she was quite surprised because she rarely uses this social network. Her original purpose was just to ask people to confirm whether it was really Suzy or not.

Previously, on the evening of November 27, the actress’ stylist posted a picture of a crowded street in Hanoi, believed to be near Ngoc Khanh Lake. This image was quickly shared by fanpages.

Huyen Linh went to Hanoi for tourism and work.

Catching Suzy jogging at West Lake was one of Huyen Linh's most memorable moments during her business trip and tourism trip to Hanoi from November 22-30.

Her family rented an apartment on Lac Long Quan street (Tay Ho ward), fully furnished, room with a view of West Lake, cleaned daily and enthusiastic staff.

She appreciated the food, the weather and considered this the most memorable trip ever.

"I have been to Hanoi many times, but this trip was the most meaningful so far. I wonder if the next time I come to Hanoi I will have such memorable, coincidental moments," she shared.

Linh's family chose to rent an apartment with a direct view of West Lake for a week in Hanoi.

In recent years, Vietnam has been continuously chosen as the setting for many Korean films.

Recently, the Netflix blockbuster As You Stood By filmed many scenes in Da Nang and Hoi An, recreating local life.

Film producer Noan Do said Vietnam is becoming a suitable destination for international film projects. Localities are not only attracting tourists but also foreign film crews.
